I have been working as a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner since 2013. I am a BodyTalk Access Trainer and teach the BodyTalk Access Self care program as well as many of the Conscious Living Investigation (CLI) classes.

I had been suffering with many layers of symptoms and was on a variety of medications to "treat" the symptoms before my healing path began. Eventually I found myself asking questions that I didn't know I had. Is this it? Is this the only answer? to stay on medications for the rest of my life? There has to be a reason, some sort of answers.. I could feel that the meds were only temporarily band aiding something much deeper. I didn't know it at the time, but I was seeking relief from very deep pains that were so unconscious I didn't even know they had any connection to what I was experiencing in my body.
This deep pain was not physical pain, but mental/emotional pain. I realized after finding BodyTalk that my mental/emotional state of mind had no choice but to show up as physical symptoms. The Fear Cycle in my mind was running the show. I had been hijacked by my own FEARS. Honestly I was secretly afraid of everything!!
You see our Body Mind is so brilliant! Physical symptoms are the guide to the deepest of healing. Yes that's right, your pain is truly your gain. How? Well, we are meant to evolve past our coping mechanisms and mental strategies that we formed when we were little. Your body will project a symptom that your are already experiencing mentally. The symptom will show up in the just the right area to get your attention.
Unfortunately we don't really listen. I mean truly hear what the pain is saying. We only listen to pain just enough to get rid of it or try to fix it some how. We totally shut down the opportunity to heal every time I ignore my own body.
Instead we medicate, ignore or push through the symptoms instead. Eventually the symptoms will get louder in order to really get your attention. This is you talking to you.
Physical pain is always a mental problem, and it has to do with my current perception or view of life. I am not in conflict with my life, but in conflict with my view about it. I am Not FREE in my Mind yet about this pain. I am in conflict with my self and my own views. If I want the pain to truly heal I must have the courage to look at where it started.
This very conscious approach to life offers an inspiring opportunity for internal change. True change comes from understanding that there is nothing wrong with you, or your body or life, the only thing wrong is how I look at these things.
I can look at my life through the FEAR lens and continue coping and managing, or I can look at life from the LOVE lens, unconditional love for Self. I can be at odds and need everything to change , or I can learn to love to embrace life fully as it is, without the need to change it. Which feels better??
